There is a tv show in development. As a result of this, the 2nd and 3rd films are no longer in the works (most likely)

Yesterday I watched and read Crazy Rich Asians and today I read the 2nd book China Rich Girlfriend. I noticed Rachel’s page only has the events of the first book so I added the events of China Rich Girlfriend as well. If I made any mistakes feel free to correct them for me ☺️.

Will China love CRA as much as the US has?
The mainland takeover of Hong Kong largely crashed the vibrant Hong Kong film scene, but before that there were quite a few films with many of the elements of Crazy Rich Asians.
I miss those days, but I guess the current audiences largely don’t know about the 90s Hong Kong movie hey day.
Some examples:
- Days of Being Wild by Wong Kar Wai
- Once a Thief by John Woo
- Young and Dangerous by Andy Lau
