M.R. Athitaya “Adam” Aakara is a Thai Prince and the youngest child of Catherine Young and Taksin Aakara. He is a minor character in the Crazy Rich Asians series by Kevin Kwan.

Adam is the youngest son of Catherine Young, the eldest daughter of the Shang Su Yi and James Young, and Thai Prince M.C. Taksin Aakara. He recently married WHO virologist Piyarasmi "Piya" Apitchatpongse.
As the son of a Thai Prince with the title Mom Chao (abbr. M.C.), indicating direct descent from the Thai monarchy, Adam is bestowed with the title Mom Rajawongse (abbr. M.R.). In English this rank is translated as “The Honorable”.
