Prince Jisarit is a Thai prince and former lover of Shang Su Yi. He is a minor character in the Crazy Rich Asians book series.
Life[]
When he was younger, he had fled Thailand to India due to hostilities of World War II. During this time, he met and worked with Shang Su Yi, where they began a relationship. He helped her return to Singapore despite the risks. He had received many things. Later, it was discovered that Su Yi had become pregnant with his child, despite both of them being married to different people. As a result, she returned to her husband, who raised Catherine Young as his own child.
Catherine was the only child who knew about Jisarit and had been in contact later. Jisarit later told and invited Nick Young about him and the plantation in Chiang Mai. There, he showed Nick about the personal belongings that once belonged to Su Yi. This vault included personal letters and jewelry. This lock had to be used from earrings that Rachel had, and Nick got it from her in a call. He returned everything that belonged to her.
